For the inauguration of the “Centro Sud di Castelbuono,” the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, the Municipality of Castelbuono and Fondazione CON IL Sud have organized a final event for Project “Grandparents on the Internet in the Province of Palermo,” an initiative developed to promote active ageing and intergenerational solidarity in Sicily.

 

The 24-month project involved over 750 individuals aged 60 or older and over 1500 high school students. The initiative had led to the creation of 7 citizen hubs equipped with WiFi and Internet corner.
