Certifying Skills

The Voucher Campaign promoted by Microsoft and Telecentre Europe, in collaboration with the Fondazione Mondo Digitale to help young men and women acquire skills that will help them access the working world returns. The schools that participate in Project Meet no Neet, coordinated by Ana Lain [Ana_fmd] with help from Valentina Gelsomini [Valentina_fmd] are at the forefront.

This collaboration is an integral part of the YouthSpark initiative and represents the results of a long partnership between Microsoft and Telecentre-Europe to promote youth employment and address the lack of technological skills in the workforce. Certifications are provided through the Microsoft IT Academy Programme.

Two types of certifications are available: the international MOS Certification (Microsoft Office Specialist) that is also valid as credit for university students and for public calls (Police, Bank of Italy, MIUR, etc.) and the MTA Certification (Microsoft Technology Associate) that provides computer skills that are highly sought after on the job market.
