Seven young women from the Department of Computer Studies at Salerno University

An original, new and beautiful experience: seven students from the University of Salerno coordinated by Delfina Malandrino, Associate Professor of Computer Science, enjoyed their first experience as coaches for the Coding Girls Programme and prepared the students from six local schools for yesterday's hackathon at the university. The students, all aged 24-25, are: Francesca Perillo, Mariarosaria Esposito, Giusy Castaldo, Anna Fulgione, Claudia Buono, Simona Grieco, and Maria Concetta Schiavone. They are studying for a Master’s degree in Software Dependability as part of the Software Engineering and IT Management Programme.

In this interview with Cecilia Stajano, the university students describe the spontaneity of their first experience as coaches and mentors at yesterday’s hackathon [see results].
