Ilaria La Manna, designer at Emosilla, co-founder Fab Lat Kids and coach at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym Fab Lab in Rome, loves to travel amongst digital manufacturing labs around the world to exchange competences and knowledge. She is now meeting with Kato Masakazu and Muramatsu Hiroyuki in Japan.
During her trip (May 5-12), she held a number of workshops and lectures in Japanese universities and schools. The various legs of this extraordinary trip to the Land of the Rising Sun have allowed Illaria to learn more about its beautiful culture.
Ilaria believes that the networking of competences activated in fab labs has no limits. “Being part of the greater fab lab family is a powerful tool to create, share and learn about technology and traditions.”
