Katirisa e Mumbere

The protagonists of our meeting at Binario F are Katirisa and Mumbere, mother and son. They both decided to participate in the interactive sessions of Living Digital, one of the proposals of Programme Vagone FMD.

Katirisa Kahindo, 55, is the owner of Barazavenir, an economic-social enterprise for recycling and reuse. The objective is to create jobs in Italy and promote on-the-job integration of women in the Democratic Republic of Congo, as a tool for sustainable development. They are at Binario F to understand how new technology can help them develop the enterprise.

Mumbere, 17, studies at the Liceo Ccientifico Augusto Righi in Rome and hopes to become an entrepreneur. In the meantime, he is learning to use social networks more carefully and professionally, even to help with his mother’s activities.

Katirisa and Mumbere were interviewed by Ilaria Bonanni [@Ilaria_FMD] at Binario F.
