Let Me Tell You About Me

The article entitled "Ti racconterò di me: Guide Invisibili presenta il progetto con le classi del Piaget-Diaz" (Let Me Tell You About Me: “Guide Invisibili” Presents the Project at Piaget-Diaz) published by Exibart takes a peek preview at some of the novelties of Project Collezione di classe. The Fondazione Mondo Digitale is a project partner.

Let Me Tell You About Me was conceived in the sound narration and sound art lab held by Guide invisibili for a class of young female students at the Piaget-Diaz branch school in Rome’s Don Bosco neighbourhood.

Environmental recordings, interviews and revealed secrets weave the complex puzzle of family relationships and love, friendships and love for our city. It’s a story about love, family, solitude, bullying and identity. It’s a research on the sounds of the world of adolescence and the outlook of fifteen young women.

The sound track will be available from Saturday, June 27 on the website of the Fondazione Pastificio Cerere and the project social media channels. Created for listening in the area around Piazza Don Bosco, the track invites listeners to discover a part of Rome from a unique perspective, to experience anew adolescence from the point of view – and voice – of a fifteen-year-old girl.

We would also like to remind you that “Guide invisibili,” developed by the Laboratorio 53 onlus & Echis - Incroci di Suoni in Rome, won the 8th edition of the Global Junior Challenge in the "ICT for the Integration of Migrants and Refugee” category [see news: #GJC Winners]. Last year, from June 28 to September 15, they were present at the “Estate Romana” summer event with "Passeggiate sonore di e con i nuovi cittadini" (Sound Walks by and with New Citizens) [see news: The Voice of Migrants].
