On April 29, 2010 at 12.00 am, the Auditorium of the Iti “E. Majorana” (Grugliasco, Turin) will host a seminar introducing new tools that will revolutionize teaching from the iPhone to the larger interactive whiteboards.
The event, organized by ITI Majorana together with the DSchola Network, CSP for ICT Innovation and the ENIS Network of innovative European Schools will explore the world of digital gestures together with companies and specialized research centres. Participants will have the opportunity to see and test state-of-the-art technological solutions.
“Technology needs to be domesticated for didactics,” explains Dario Zucchini, ICT consultant for the Istituto Majorana, “the Piedmont Dschola Network aims to familiarize and support new technologies for didactics.”
The Dschola Network participated in the last edition of the Global Junior Challenge, the international competition against the digital divide promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, and made the finals with the A Computer for Every Student Project.
