In order to encourage high school students to undertake technical and scientific courses of study at university, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and the Sapienza University of Rome “Antonio Ruberti” Department of Computer, Control, and Management Engineering, in collaboration with Media Direct, are organizing intensive three-hour laboratories at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym Robotics Centre. The objective is to provide students with the opportunity of experimenting hands on with what it means to work in an emerging and successful sector such as robotics, a gratifying field that ranges from bio-inspired machines to services.
Today is the second appointment: from 9:30-12:30 am at the Robotics Centre of the Phyrtual Innovation Gym in via del Quadraro 102 (Tuscolano neighbourhood). Students from 5 fifth-year classes at the Rome Liceo Morgagni, who will be accompanied by their teacher Sandra Amatiste, will be provided with guidance by a staff of 21 engineers from Sapienza University and introduced to the potential of Nao robots and the robotics sector.
