Negotiating Ability

Next Friday, July 3, the Rome Spazio Europa will host the presentation of the scientific results of ENACT, an international project worth €532,000 that uses artificial intelligence and on-line gaming to teach negotiation skills through one of Europe’s most innovative platforms.

Establishing the best procedure for a research project, training a football team or sharing investment strategies are very different activities, but they have a point in common: the negotiation process. Whether it’s about university colleagues, teammates or business partners, knowing how to negotiate is an essential ability for the success of any project. “ENACT” is based on an innovative on-line game that aims to improve individual’s negotiation skills through one of Europe’s most innovative platforms.

The initial project results will be presented in Rome on Friday July 3, 2015 at 10 am at Spazio Europa (via IV Novembre, 149).

Financed by the European LLP - KA3 Multilateral Projects Programme, Project ENACT - Enhancing Negotiation skills through on-line Assessment of Competencies and interactive mobile Training is a milestone in training and psychological evaluation: psychological modelling methodologies, use of innovative technologies (e-learning, mobile app, Internet, artificial intelligence), and AI systems.

Project ENACT is coordinated by the University of Plymouth; partners include: Università di Napoli "Federico II,” Aidvanced srl (an innovative start-up specialized in robotics and AI), Fondazione Mondo Digitale, Turkish Ministry of Sports and Fundetec. The project kicked off in January 2014 for 24 months and is worth €532,000 euro (€400,000 financed by the EU).
