Third session on augmented teaching for teachers. Connecting with families at home
The series of training sessions for the PariPasso project continues. This initiative by Rizzoli Education is dedicated to promoting a culture of inclusion in schools, with the Fondazione Mondo Digitale also involved in the Scientific Committee. The programme supports teachers and families in exploring educational tools and practices capable of combining innovation, personalised learning and attention to differences.
The project was launched with the aim of supporting an inclusive school where all students can participate fully in school life and develop their potential, valuing diversity as an educational resource.
Two new online sessions are scheduled for this week, dedicated to teachers and families.

The third webinar on augmented teaching delves into educational design using artificial intelligence. The session offers practical activities and real-world examples to understand how to use AI as an ally in learning processes. With Daniela Pieraccini, a teacher and trainer specialising in STEM methodologies, participants will try out simulations and activities to identify bias and inequalities in AI systems, reflecting on the responsible use of technology, including in relation to the Coding Girls programme. With Gaetano Manzulli, a computer science teacher and trainer in new technologies, we explore the theme of AI as an educational tutor, learning to design personalised models to support students’ study, revision and motivation. The aim is to show how artificial intelligence can become a practical tool for building educational pathways that are fairer, more personalised and more inclusive.

Inside the connected home: smart devices and digital security

The second webinar for parents focuses on digital life within the family. Voice assistants, smart speakers, educational robots, consoles and smart toys are now part of everyday home life and raise new educational questions. The session offers a journey into the world of connected devices to understand how they work, what data they collect and what implications they have for the safety and privacy of young people.
Speakers:
- Roberto Raspa, lecturer and trainer specialising in educational robotics and teaching innovation
- Edel Beckman, criminologist specialising in digital violence and online risk prevention
The aim is to provide families with tools to understand the domestic digital ecosystem and transform it into an opportunity for dialogue, learning and shared responsibility between parents and children.

Both sessions are moderated by Francesca Meini, project manager at Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
Through the PariPasso project, Rizzoli Education and the Fondazione Mondo Digitale are strengthening the partnership between schools, families and the wider educational community to build inclusive and informed learning pathways step by step.
