RomeCup Demonstration Area: technology takes shape

At the Marco Polo building, Sapienza University of Rome

The demonstration area of RomeCup 2026 is a space open to discovery, where innovation leaves the laboratories and becomes a tangible experience. Universities, research centres, companies, start-ups, associations and schools present prototypes, solutions and applications that demonstrate how robotics, artificial intelligence, sensor technology, extended reality and digital manufacturing can help improve people’s lives, the quality of the environment, health, education and work.

From assistive technologies to autonomous robotic platforms, from agritech to sustainability, from humanoid robots to applications for inclusive education, the exhibition area showcases a dynamic ecosystem where cutting-edge research and youthful creativity engage with the real needs of communities. It is the place where students and visitors can observe, experiment, ask questions and meet those who design new solutions every day to the challenges of the present.

At RomeCup, innovation isn’t just something to look at: it’s something to touch, try out and discuss.
