Runts: what’s changing for organisations

Focus on the Third Sector by Cantiere Terzo Settore, featuring a contribution from Fondazione Mondo Digitale

With the publication in the Official Gazette of Ministerial Decree No. 2 of 13 January 2026, the Single National Register of the Third Sector introduces a number of operational changes for organisations, amending Ministerial Decree 106/2020 which governs the functioning of Runts. The measure addresses procedures and compliance requirements with the aim of simplifying the relationship between organisations and the Register’s offices.

Among the most eagerly awaited changes is the possibility for the legal representative to delegate another person to manage procedures on the Runts, a feature operational from 9 April 2026. The decree also introduces updates to organisations’ reporting obligations, including regarding data on members, volunteers and staff.

To take stock of the latest developments, Cantiere Terzo Settore presents the online focus Runts: delegation and data updates. What’s changing on the platform, published on Tuesday 9 June at 5 pm on Cantiere Terzo Settore’s Facebook and YouTube channels. The session also explores the key deadlines for June and offers practical guidance to assist organisations in managing their obligations.

Speakers include Simone Perotto, contact person for the Runts digital advice desk at Celivo-CSV Genova, and Stefano Farina, coordinator of the organisational services department at CSV MLS – Service Centre for Volunteering in Monza, Lecco and Sondrio ETS.

With the participation of Fondazione Mondo Digitale, there will also be a brief focus on the digital tools required to operate on the platform: SPID, CI, digital signature and PEC. This session is designed to strengthen organisations’ autonomy and facilitate access to digital services linked to the Register.
