Scaled Projects

Training continues for the winners of the Google.org Impact Challenge on Security, a fund that helps non-profit organisations working to develop practical solutions to contrast hate and extremism on-line and help children to enjoy the Internet safely. The third workshop, which will be held today from 3 to 7 pm on the Zoom Platform, will address the criteria of scalabilityreplicability and transferability in the framework of impact evaluation. The Fondazione Mondo Digitale will be represented by Ilaria Graziano (Project Manager) and Giovanna Cipolla (Project Assistant).

The day will begin with a case study on the development of the Aflatoun International non-profit that promotes the rights of children and the fair distribution of resources through the social and financial education of children.

There are 29 organisations from 14 countries that won the grant. Four projects developed by five non-profit organisations were chosen from Italy, including the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, which presented Project “Social Hosting Hub. Integrated, Local and On-line Educational Platform with a High Impact and Inclusive Density and No Separation.”

The objective of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and partner organisations - Comunità di Sant'EgidioActionAid and Parole O_stili – is to develop and implement the first phyrtual (physical and virtual) educational ecosystem made of connections, relations and communities: concrete tools, calibrated per age groups, to provide information, identify correct styles of communication and behaviour, learn in a transformative manner and develop new paradigms for living together based on common values.
