Spark, European meeting in Lisbon

On 14 and 15 May, the partners of the Erasmus+ project will meet in Portugal

On 14 and 15 May, the eighth transnational meeting of the European project SPARK – Igniting the confidence and capacity of school leaders, teachers and parents in providing quality Comprehensive Sexuality Education, funded by the Erasmus+ programme, will take place in Lisbon, with the option to participate remotely.

The project, carried out by a European partnership for innovation in school education, aims to strengthen the confidence and skills of school leaders, teachers and parents in promoting comprehensive, high-quality sexuality education tailored to the needs of educational communities. SPARK involves eight organisations from five European countries: Ireland, Greece, Portugal, Cyprus and Italy. The Fondazione Mondo Digitale is participating as the Italian partner, contributing to the development of training modules and the dissemination of results in Italy.

Over the course of the two days, the partners worked on several key aspects of the project: pre- and post-course questionnaires, evaluation of training activities, development of modules and the European bank of teaching resources on Comprehensive Sexuality Education, a trainer’s manual, MOOCs, newsletters, conferences, articles and updates to deliverables. The meeting concludes with the planning of the next stages, both online and in person.

Representing the Fondazione Mondo Digitale are Vittoria Bernardini in person and Annaleda Mazzucato remotely.
