Teacher Training Workshops

The teacher training programme organised as part of Project CS First promoted with Google [see news: Education is Viral] is in full swing.

Today, the appointment is from 2 to 6 pm at the Rome Spazio Attivo Casilina with Coach Mauro Crepaldi; tomorrow, Coach Paola Ianni, digital coordinator at the Istituto comprensivo Tacito-Guareschi, will hold the course in Vicenza. The latter will be held at the local CNA centre that has provided its offices for the course.

COACHES

Mauro Crepaldi

A primary school teacher born in 1963, Mr. Crepaldi teaches with wonder and educates to curiosity (being a former magician helps). Today, he is a digital coach at his school (there obviously was a need for a “DOS” native) that proposes web-like evaluation systems for universities and colleagues (growing up reading Lee&Ditko obviously left a mark) while he also promotes marketing initiatives such as “€uroscuola” at his school. As an educator, he graduated from the “old school” of IRI Management with experiences in PNL and classic hypnosis (if you fall asleep during one of his lessons, you now know why). And consider yourselves lucky, he could have played one of his compositions (he plays a range of instruments and composes). Moreover, as a political ghostwriter and editorialist under a pseudonym, after having convinced the State to pay for the construction of a digital school planetarium at his school, he can show everyone the stars.

Paola Ianni

Paola Ianni has been teaching secondary school mathematics and science for over twenty years. She is the digital coordinator at the IC Tacito-Guareschi School where she has organised a creative workshop dedicated to coding and robotics. Her dream is to transform it into an innovative learning environment open to everyone, even outside of school hours. She is also currently working towards an EPICT Certificate for coding and robotics at the University of Genoa.
