Second appointment today at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym for artist Matteo Nasini, who is working with 40 students at IIS Amaldi in Rome and IIS S. Pertini in Genzano to create one of the three scientific-artistic works on the carbon footprint. The work will be exhibited at the next edition of the Media Art Festival [see news: The Artist’s Footprint].

 

Project “A carbon footprint through digital art: new didactic models to teach science” is financed by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research and promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, in collaboration with Sapienza University of Rome.

 

Labs for students involved in Project IoT at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym promoted by Cisco also continue. Today, students from the G. Garibaldi School will meet with Coach Luca Frogheri.

 

Students from the Liceo scientifico Bruno Touschek in Grottaferrata are busy exploring immersive tools and virtual reality with Coach Gianluca Bombini.

 

At the Fab Lab, Maker Matteo Viscogliosi will introduce young creative minds from the Ada Negri Primary School at the Istituto comprensivo Via Latina 303 to digital manufacturing devices; in the Robotics Centre, Riccardo D'Aquino will introduce another class to robot construction and programming.
