The "Three Days without Frontiers" Games open today – Monday, August 8 – in Catania. This is the largest games, entertainment and integration event held in the Mediterranean and promoted by Giovani per la pace.
Teams will compete in beach and water games and a treasure hunt throughout the entire city! The four cups for the winners and 7 awards for the best players have been produced in the Phyrtual Innovation Gym Fab Lab, coordinated by Mauro Del Santo.
Today, at 11:30 am, the opening assembly will be held with the press at the Palazzo della Cultura on via Vittorio Emanuele 121. Participants include: Emiliano Abramo (Comunità di Sant’Egidio), Kheit Abdelhafid (President, Islamic Community of Sicily), Hon. Davide Faraone (Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Eudcation, University and Research), Contrammiraglio Nunzio Martello (Maritime Control, Eastern Sicily), Marco Consoli (Deputy Mayor, Catania), Mohammed Kabba (Giovani per la Pace, C.A.R.A. Mineo), Francesca Cannaò (Deputy Area Manager, UNICREDIT Catania).

The event is organized in collaboration with the Comunità di Sant'Egidio, following the success of the “Technology for Solidarity” multi-event (see news #Iocisono in Rome and Catania).
