The school year ends this week in Valle D’Aosta, Lombardy, Sicily and Lazio, too. The last day of school is Tuesday, June 8. On June 9, lessons end in Liguria and Umbria, and on June 10 in Trentino, Friuli, Tuscany and Abruzzo. Piedmont, Basilicata and Puglia end the school year on June 11, while for Campania, Calabria and Sardinia the last day is June 12.
With the upcoming end of the school year, we are reducing our school support activities, especially those related to projects. This week’s virtual labs include the following projects: Ambizione Italia for Youth, Coding Girls in Turin and Health4U.
Service projects involving all citizens to improve digital, functional and soft skills include Ambizione Italia for Youth (COL users), Starting Back Up Together, Job Digital Lab and School of Internet for Everyone.
Collaboration with Porta Futuro and the City of Bari continues with courses that are open to everyone [see news: Porta Futuro in Bari].
This week’s events include the awards ceremony for the regional StartUp School Academy competition. It will be an afternoon dedicated to entrepreneurial education and the promotion of the young entrepreneurs of the future, promoted by Lazio Innova. The appointment is at 3 pm with live streaming on the Facebook Page of the Regione Lazio and Fondazione Mondo Digitale Scientific Director Alfonso Molina. On Tuesday, June 8, from 9:30 to 12:30, there will be a public event entitled “Educational Community Orientation. The OpenSpace Recipe.” During the meeting, the results of the project selected by the “Con I Bambini” social enterprise will be presented as part of the Fund to contrast educational poverty [see news: The OpenSpace Recipe].
Following on the success of the previous courses organised with the Rome City Council, registration is underway for the new intermediate level course on “Multimedia Communication” that will begin on June 23. The course will explore multimedia communication tools and techniques: graphic and sound design, videomaking, multimedia marketing, multimedia CVs, etc. Online Registration Form.
We would also like to remind you that deadline for project submission and candidatures to the International Global Junior Challenge dedicated to Tullio De Mauro has been extended to July 31.
