It’s the first time that nine-year-old Marco sets foot in a digital manufacturing lab. He is at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym, where he has discovered how to progress from an idea to a product. In fact, he has learned that programming also means creating thanks to Thinkercad and laser cutters!

 

In this interview with Eleonora Curatola, Marco speaks about his experience at the Fab Lab.

 

 

Project Crack the Code, promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Microsoft as part of the YouthSpark Programme proposes innovative digital models for school education to prepare the future generations to successfully face the employment challenge.

The programme has involved 8000 students, aged 6-19, and 200 teachers from first and second-degree primary schools in at least 3 Italian Regions: Lombardy, Lazio and Campagna.
