Activities for schools, universities, the third sector and local communities
The week from 12 to 18 January begins with a packed calendar of training activities, educational meetings and institutional discussions promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale. The agenda spans schools, local areas and professional communities, with a constant focus on the themes of innovation, inclusion and the conscious use of digital technologies.
Monday 12 January
The week kicks off with the activities of the Coding Girls & Women project, which involves students in several training sessions throughout the day. In the afternoon, there will be a focus on the Digital Licence with the module ‘Me, a digital citizen’, dedicated to rights and duties in online life.
Tuesday 13 January
The Coding Girls & Women and Coding Girls Power Up courses continue, with morning and afternoon sessions dedicated to the development of digital and STEM skills.
From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the IC Fratelli Cervi (Via Marino Mazzacurati 86, Municipio XI), the second session of the Digital Marketing course will take place, led by trainer Nicoletta Vulpetti, as part of the La tua storia in rete (Your story on the web) workshop for Roma Rigenera Impresa. The course is aimed at entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs and citizens interested in developing digital skills useful for starting or strengthening their own business.
In the afternoon, there will also be a webinar as part of the Rising Youth programme, Module 4 – AI for the supply chain, focusing on the application of artificial intelligence in production contexts.
Wednesday 14 January
The day will feature intensive training activities in schools with the Coding Girls & Women and Coding Girls Power Up workshops.
The day will end with a new Digital Licence event, dedicated to fact checking and combating disinformation.
Thursday 15 January
The Coding Girls & Women and Coding Girls Power Up meetings continue. In the afternoon, there will be a webinar entitled “Ethics and fairness in the use of AI: simulations and bias analysis”, an in-depth look at the risks and responsibilities associated with the use of artificial intelligence in educational and social contexts, as part of the Ital.IA Lab for School project.
In the afternoon, there will also be participation in the Parliamentary Intergroup on Social Affairs and Children at the Senate of the Republic, an opportunity for dialogue and discussion on educational and social policies in favour of the younger generation.
