Third stage of DisclAImer at the University of Naples

Next Wednesday, 8 October, at 6 p.m., the University of Naples Federico II will host a meeting on one of the most urgent and sensitive issues of our time: the relationship between artificial intelligence and crime. This is the third stage of the national tour DisclAImer. Last warnings before the revolution, promoted by Corriere della Sera in collaboration with Cineca and coordinated by Riccardo Luna, columnist and innovation expert. The Fondazione Mondo Digitale is participating as a knowledge partner, bringing concrete experiences and tools for the responsible, inclusive and educational use of artificial intelligence.

The debate will be attended by Bruno Frattasi, Director General of the National Cybersecurity Agency (ACN), and Nicola Gratteri, Public Prosecutor of Naples, one of the most authoritative magistrates in the fight against organised crime. They will be joined by voices from the academic and business worlds: Matteo Lorito, rector of Federico II University, Gianfranco Nicoletti, member of the Cineca Board of Directors and rector of Vanvitelli University, Carlo Sansone, full professor of Information Processing Systems (Federico II), Alberto Giaccone, Group CIO of Almaviva, Fabio Cappelli, Offensive & Defensive Cybersecurity Leader at EY Italia, and Elisa Zambito Marsala, Head of Education Ecosystem and Global Value Programs at Intesa Sanpaolo. The event will be concluded by Silvia Rossi, professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (Federico II).

The challenge with students

The event will be enriched by a challenge dedicated to university students and young researchers: “Smart technologies to combat bullying and cyberbullying”. From 3pm to 5.30pm, teams will work on real scenarios, developing innovative, ethical and inclusive solutions. The immersive activity will be led by Federico II professors Carlo Sansone, Antonio Galli and Michela Gravina.

The challenge will be preceded, at 2 p.m., by a workshop organised by Umana on soft skills - critical thinking, communication and flexibility - which are essential for tackling academic and professional challenges in the age of artificial intelligence.
