Coding Masters

“An hour of code can change the future” was demonstrated by students in Class 3B Computer Course at the Rome IIS Archimede-Pacinotti School. This is the second coding week promoted by Microsoft and the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, as part of the global “The Hour of Code” Movement in over 180 countries around the world. The students tutored young boys and girls from primary and first-degree secondary school, coordinated by Prof Fiorella Fiore.

With the help of the older tutors, the young programmers began to programme with the typical block code of Minecraft, the captivating videogame that helps develop logical skills and problem-solving capabilities in a creative and fun manner. It was a fantastic experience for all those involved.

How does one become a teacher? Can everyone become a teacher? The students produced this video how they prepared for the challenge and participated in an unforgettable “Hour of Code” with their younger peers to change the future together.
