Conflicts and Solutions

Do you know how to manage conflict caused by cultural differences at school? How honed are your transversal abilities to solve critical issues?

Reinforcing teacher competences for the management of intercultural conflict is the objective of European Project ACCORD - Attain Cultural Integration through COnflict Resolution skill Development, promoted by the “Federico II” University of Naples.

In order to allow as many teachers as possible to improve their intercultural conflict resolution strategies at school, there is a 20-hour free on-line course available until December 18, 2019. Teachers who have already registered can access the course with the same credentials and start off where they stopped.

The course is organised into 5 lessons and includes videos and an on-line game that simulates conflict scenarios [see news: School Without Conflict].

The various modules and activities in the game help teaches to develop constructive conflict management and develop learning environments based on intercultural values and diversity.

At the end of the course, teachers and educators can request the 20-hour certificate from the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, an accredited agency for teacher training (Directive N. 170 - March 21, 2016), as well as all the on-line material to hold courses in their classrooms.

The certificate will be sent out to everyone who completes the entire course after it goes off-line.
