Creativity and Imagination

Stimulating the creativity of children is one of the challenges of the 21st century to develop an experiential school that is not only based on formal learning, but open to new forms of learning and the development of skills and competences. While it is true that the professions of the future must still be conceived, we need a new educational model and an innovative didactic environment to prepare for them.

The Fondazione Mondo Digitale has conceived the “Life Education” Model to tackle this need and developed the first Phyrtual Innovation Gym, a physical and virtual environment in which to discover, learn about and practice innovation and new forms of thought.

IMAGINE, GROW, SHARE

Phyrtual Innovation Gym

November 24, 2016

9:30 am - 1.00 pm

On Thursday, November 24, the Rome Phyrtual Innovation Gym on Via del Quadraro 102 will host an event entitled “Imagine, Grow, Share,” promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, Mattel and Creatubbles addressing students and kindergarten and primary school teachers. The morning will be dedicated to the talent and creativity of young students to discover stimulating and fun activities that can be enjoyed at home or at school to help them grow.

Thanks to the “Learning by doing and having fun” Method, 50 kindergarten and primary school teachers will create stories and innovative scenarios using the First Builders Mega Bloks, bricks meant to develop the imagination and creativity of young and old alike.

An interactive and stimulating workshop that teachers will be able to repeat in their classrooms to drive creativity, critical thinking manual abilities and communication amongst their students.

The Creatubbles Platform will also be presented during the workshop. This is the first social network on which young students can share their creations while concealing their personal identity.

The workshop is free, but places are limited.
