The Fondazione Mondo Digitale is working with Google to promote the Computer Science First Platform in schools. The platform allows computational thinking and soft skills to be taught in a fun and exciting manner. CS First allows core subjects to be integrated with more efficient methodologies for teaching and learning new languages and not just “for coding” in primary and first-degree secondary school.

Two events will be held in collaboration with Alessandro Bogliolo, Professor of Information Processing Systems at the University of Urbino, to allow teachers and students to interact with a national coding exercise. Schools are invited to participate with their entire faculty and primary and first-degree secondary classes.

November 19, 9:00-10:30

Alessandro Bogliolo will hold a collaborative development experiment with CS First and Scratch. During the lesson, teachers and students will interact with web app ActiveViewer. The experiment begins now! Register for the event and participate in the survey to select the topic and type of project.

December 7, 11:00 -12:30

Alessandro Bogliolo presents one of the best coding projects selected by CS First at the international level to involve students and teachers in the development of a remix. Interaction takes place through the ActiveViewer web app. The outcome of the session will serve as the basis for further refinements that schools can conduct independently.
