The first advanced course at the University of Milan starts on 24 June

Registration is now officially open for the advanced course The cybersecurity professional: regulatory and operational aspects, scheduled from 24 June to 31 July 2025.

The course, organised entirely online, is designed to train highly specialised professionals in cybersecurity, with a specific focus on the regulatory, legislative and operational aspects of data protection and critical infrastructure.

Aimed at graduates in Law and Legal Services, practitioners, lawyers, but also IT specialists, data scientists, managers and data management professionals, the course aims to provide up-to-date interdisciplinary training on the main legal and technical challenges of cybersecurity. The programme is part of Google.org's Cybersecurity Seminars programme, developed in collaboration with Virtual Routes, with the aim of providing more and better learning and work opportunities in the field of cybersecurity for university students in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The project is led by the University of Milan, which, together with the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, promotes a programme of seminars to train new professionals in data protection, with practical, experience-based training to support small organisations and communities in Italy. Bringing cybersecurity culture to the local area through a cross-cutting alliance with local institutions means opening up new learning and career prospects, helping to address the challenges of digital economies and societies.
