Describing Anger

Demis is nice, outgoing and a Rome supporter. Together with Leonilde, a professor at the Rome IIS Edoardo Amaldi, he was interviewed as a protagonist of the original course on “How to React to and Contrast Bullying” organised by European Project DisAbuse - Disablist Bullying - Experience into Change, providing the right support services.

Fondazione Mondo Digitale Coaches led the reflection using material developed together with the project partners and the Lego® Serious Play® and MTa Learning tools.

“Working in a group was not hard at all, as a matter of fact …” Demis liked comparing ideas with other participants and identifying points in common. Transforming ideas into objects came naturally. The participants represented different types of bullying and its effects, along with strategies to contrast it.

"We all shared our ideas and resources, portraying our worlds. Shared strategies emerged to develop resilience, to consciously face moments of unease and suffering,” explains Ilaria Bonanni who followed the course and held the interviews.

"The group work allowed them to connect intelligences and personalities, reaching synergies that were useful to create a common foundation, a fertile ground from which to network and contrast bullying."

The methodology, which was successfully applied during the course with 27 participants - young men and women with special educational needs and 12 teachers, trainers and psychologists – will be replicated at a workshop held during the international conference that will be held in Rome on September 27, 2019 at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym (Via del Quadraro 102).

To participate in the conference, you must complete the on-line registration form. The final programme will soon be available on-line.

The project is implemented as part of the Erasmus+ Programme by the Anti-bullying Centre at the University of Dublin (Ireland), Fondazione Mondo Digitale (Italy), Institute of Art & Design Technology (Ireland), University of Lisbon (Portugal) and University of Murcia (Spain).
