Press conference tomorrow to present the Remid@ project
Tomorrow, Friday 12 September, at 12 noon, in the Franco Brigida press room at Palazzo Marino, a press conference will be held to present REMID@ - REndere Milano Inclusiva e Digitale (Making Milan Inclusive and Digital), the project to reduce the digital divide and promote social inclusion, promoted by the Municipality of Milan in collaboration with the Fondazione Mondo Digitale ETS and MigliorAttivaMente APS, with the contribution of the Fondazione di Comunità Milano.
The initiative was created to respond to a challenge that is still very relevant even in a technologically advanced city like Milan: to guarantee all citizens, aged 16 to 74, safe, critical and effective access to digital technologies and services.
Speakers at the presentation include:
- Gaia Romani, Councillor for Civic Services
- Lamberto Bertolé, Councillor for Welfare and Health
- Layla Pavone, Coordinator of the Board for Technological Innovation and Digital Transformation
- Mirta Michilli, Director General of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale
- Filippo Petrolati, Director of the Fondazione di Comunità Milano.
With REMID@, digital inclusion becomes a local service, provided directly in Neighbourhood Centres and Digital Facilitation Points, thanks to tailor-made training courses, support for the use of SPID and Cie, and assistance in accessing online public administration services.
