Gender Equality Matters

In view of the massive participation at the open educational event organized by Project GEM – Gender Equality Matters during April and May and the request for a second edition, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale is offering an 11-module course with slides and a bibliography for further reading on gender equality, bullying, the gender gap in work and its effects on gender discrimination. The meetings will be held by psychologists, researchers, educators, communications experts, anthropologists and are dedicated to teachers, parents, educators, researchers, operators and students to raise awareness and inform the community, starting from schools and the families, on these issues, as well as to promote actions to contrast gender stereotypes.

The course includes 8 meetings and 3 labs dedicated to teachers, trainers and parents for a total of 18 hours with videos, slides and advanced materials. Each module provides knowledge and competences to help young men and women to interpret the world around them, tools to understand how to resolve conflicts and overcome stereotypes and preconceptions that often influence their choices.
