#GJC2019 Deadline Extension

The deadline for projects and candidatures for the new edition of the Global Junior Challenge has been extended to November 10, 2019. The GJC is an international competition addressing organisations that have developed projects employing technology in an innovative manner to provide a quality, fair and inclusive, education and learning opportunities for everyone (Objective 4 of the Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development). The Tullio De Mauro Award for Innovative and Inclusive Schools is reserved for schools and school administrators.

 

Promoted by the City of Rome and organised every two years by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, since 2017, the GJC is dedicated to Tullio De Mauro (Torre Annunziata 1932 - Rome 2017), linguist, professor emeritus and scholar of international educational systems.

For Organisations, Agencies, Citizens, etc.

The 2019 edition is open to organisations, associations, companies and individual citizens who have developed a project employing technology in an innovative manner to provide a quality, fair and inclusive, education and learning opportunities for everyone (Objective 4 of the Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development). Deadline for project presentation is November 10, 2019.

 

A high-profile jury will evaluate the submissions and select the finalists who will participate in the final event, a celebration of school and innovation that will be held in Rome on December 11-13.

 

The awards ceremony will be held in the prestigious Sala Giulio Cesare at the Rome Campidoglio on December 13, 2019.
