The Phyrtual Innovation Gym provides schools with its digital environments to allow students to experiment with more efficient and immersive learning techniques. Teachers are provided with innovative spaces they can use, along with coaches and experts for the less technologically savvy.
In the Coding Lab, Valentina Gelsomini will introduce young students from the Istituto comprensivo Via Acquaroni to the fascinating world of coding. Class 2A will be chaperoned by Adriana Bucaioni. The students will work with Scratch, a free programming language developed by the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab. Scratch makes it fun and easy to create and share interactive stories, games and animations on the web.
Students from the Istituto comprensivo Via Acquaroni will attend the Immersive Lab with Coach Domenico Zungri.
The Robotics Centre will welcome last year students from the Liceo Peano, busy deciding how to continue their studies. The Nao humanoid robot and coaches from Sapienza University in Rome will try to attract students to study scientific disciplines. The class will be accompanied by Prof Daria Ronconi.
Students at the Liceo Touschek in Grottaferrata and Prof Giampaolo Ranaldi will be busy with the Shaping the Future Lab, created in collaboration with the Istituto Quasar. In the video, Emanuele Tarducci, Web & Interaction Course Coordinator at the Quasar Design University, explains how the lab is an important opportunity for students to understand how jobs are changing.
