Mantua and Asti

Last Tuesday, classrooms in postal offices opened up in Rome, Palermo and Ascoli. Naples joined yesterday.

Now, its Asti and Mantua’s turn to complete the round of Grandparent on the Internet at the Postal Service project, promoted as a pilot in six cities to help elders learn to navigate the web and familiarize with modern communication technology.

The over-sixties in Asti will meet at the Corso Dante 55 Post Office from 9-11 am. The tutors, who are from the IIS Alberto Castigliano School directed by Prof Ugo Rapetti, will be coordinated by Roberta Borgnoli and Stella Perrone, winner of last year’s edition of the Knowledge Volunteers competition.

In Mantua, over-sixties will be able to enjoy lessons at the Via Pietro Nenni 2 Post Office from 10-12 am with tutors from IIS Enrico Fermi, directed by Headmaster Cristina Bonaglia. The coordinating teachers are Paolo Pellizzoni and Massimiliano Ferro.
