Recognition for leadership in educational innovation and digital inclusion
The magazine StartupItalia has published the 2025 update of Unstoppable Women, the observatory that promotes female profiles capable of making an impact in Italy and around the world. Once again this year, Mirta Michilli, general manager of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, is among the names selected. This is not a ranking, but a living list, continuously updated, which the community will also present at Milan Digital Week (1–5 October).
Michilli's presence is a confirmation: she had already been included in previous editions, testifying to her ongoing commitment to education, digital citizenship and the empowerment of the younger generations.
In its 2025 launch, StartupItalia cites data from the World Economic Forum's Global Gender Gap Report: at the current rate, it would take 123 years to close the global gap; worldwide, the gap has been closed by about 69%, while Italy ranks 85th out of 146 countries.
For Fondazione Mondo Digitale, the recognition given to its general manager is an incentive to continue with projects that bring together innovation, training and inclusion, from Coding Girls to Job Digital Lab, in order to reduce gaps and expand opportunities for participation.
