The Rome Città Educativa hosted students and teachers from the Federico Caffè and Virgilio Schools in Rome for the first phase of Project ENACT - Enhancing negotiation skills through on-line Assessment of Competencies and interactive mobile Training.
As beneficiaries of the project, the students and teachers were invited to provide their points of view on negotiation skills in different daily contexts: school, relations with friends, family, etc.
Their video interviews will help the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, in collaboration with the University of Plymouth (UK) and other Enact partners in Italy, Spain and Turkey to better understand how negotiation skills can be learned and improved. The final goal of the project is to develop an on-line learning tool – a game – that can be used to evaluate and guide the user to improve his or her negotiation skills.
The participants explained how the ability to communicate efficiently is a fundamental skill that they wish to improve in order to reach a better understanding of themselves and others. Moreover, it is very important to understand how one is perceived and understood by others.
