Today, we are invited to the presentation event of the “Open Schools” activities at the Istituto Comprensivo Piaget-Majorana in Piazza Minucciano, in Rome’s Municipality III, an area as large as Prato and populated like Trieste. Piaget-Majorana is one of the five institutes in the municipality (selected with a tender from “Roma Capitale”) that is participating in the  "Schools Open in the Afternoon" Project for school year 2022-23. Activities in the programme include those carried out in synergy with Smart & Heart Rome that has introduced primary and secondary students to the values of digital citizenship, the world of block coding and digital manufacturing. Giovanna Cipolla will participate on behalf of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale.

Programme Smart & Heart Rome starts tomorrow with the first module of the "An Innovation Gym for Sustainability in Tufello" PCTO Course at the Istituto Carlo Matteucci, developed in collaboration with Sapienza University of Rome.

Tomorrow afternoon, an Italian and French delegation will visit the Innovation Gym to study the phyrtual educational model proposed by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, even during the pandemic. The Italian representation is led by Ezia Palmieri, Director of Didactic and Digital Innovation at MIUR (Office VI). The students from the Kant and Artusi schools in Rome will work in the laboratories. Among the trainers, the teacher Paolo Aghemo, Lara Forgione, Valentina Gelsomini and Daniele Vigo. The immersive corners will also be active to allow participants to experience the eduverse with Meta Quest 2 viewers.
