According to the World Economic Forum's 'Future of Jobs 2020' survey, based on the responses of more than 300 managers from around the world, the priorities of business leaders in the coming years will be big data, cloud computing and e-commerce. Among the jobs of the future, green economy and data analytics rank first, followed by the management and creation of artificial intelligence. Increasingly gaining ground is cybersecurity, which is seeing an increase in training courses worldwide, as well as greater professional demand.
Thanks to the physical and virtual environments of the Innovation Gymnasium, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale also offers services, for professionals and above all organisations and groups, to accompany digital transformation. Intensive programmes to discover new enabling technologies in various sectors, from medicine to industry, from commerce to culture, and to enhance digital (and other) skills that are strategic for remaining productive and competitive on the market.
With the 'Digital Transformation in Public Health' academy, 24 SItI professionals took part in an experiential training on some frontier technological developments supporting scientific research and the improvement of hygiene services. The civic challenges of the programme "FMD Wagon. From 01 to 100', promoted together with Facebook, allowed the administrators of six Italian cities to discuss with citizens, local authorities and public and private organisations on which technologies and strategies to adopt to promote the digitalisation of certain services in the area. With Fashion Digital Night, the fashion industry is also discovering new possibilities for ethical and sustainable production, thanks to the creativity of young makers and designers selected from around the world and digital manufacturing technologies.
