Actively Pursuing Employment

The first training day for Project Path to a Job is being hosted by UK partner Friday People in Edenbridge.

The objective of Project Path to a Job is to promote the inclusion and employment of young men and women through a range of actions at the personal, family and social level. The project, which is financed as part of the Erasmus + Programme (KA2 Strategic Partnership), addresses youth aged 17-24 with fewer opportunities (NEETs and disadvantaged youth).

Project Partners

From April 25 to 29, a training session will be held for four young operators (for each project partner) working or aiming to work in fields addressing the social inclusion and employment of youth. The objective of the session is to guide participants through a direct experience of the methodologies and techniques used by partner Friday People. Classroom training has been limited to a minimum to privilege practical activities and visits to projects.

The Fondazione Mondo Digitale participants are:

  • Giorgia Pagano – a social mediator who works on the orientation, help and monitoring of new poverty, socio-economic living issues and job insertion for disadvantage youth (16-20), as well as socio-educational actions;
  • Loredana Rui – a trainer specialized in professional orientation and active job search for young migrants;
  • Efisia Aru – work orientation consultant at a Rome employment centre;
  • Ilaria Riccitelli – mediator and social operator working on individual action plans and skills balances. She has specific experience as a front office operator at a work orientation desk for women who have lost their job.

On April 27- 28, project partner Friday People will also host the second transnational project meeting in Edenbridge.
