Health specialists from the Rome Campus Bio-Medico University and General Hospital have chosen to share their experience with students through Project Factor J promoted with Janssen Italia. The scientific collaboration with the Rome university has led to the development of a series of video lessons entitled “We’ll Take Care of You” – a collection of “Stories from the Doctors” and more.

The doctors at the university will also hold live lessons for students in the virtual classrooms with FMD Coaches and experts from partner associations.

To date, the following professors have held lessons:

  • Andrea Segreti, Pulmonologist, held a lesson on Pulmonary Hypertension for 70 students from IIS Antonello in Messina (Oct. 5) and 190 students from IIS Spallanzani in Tivoli and Via dei Papareschi in Rome (Oct. 26)
  • Luca Navarini, Immunologist and Rheumatology Researcher, held a lessn on Immune Therapy (derma) for 286 students from the following schools: Primo Levi in San Donato Milanese, Galileo Ferraris in Settimo Torinese, Croce Aleramo in Rome and IIS Spallanzani in Tivoli (Nov. 9)

Factor J, promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale with Janssen Italia, is the first Italian school curriculum for educating students to develop emotional intelligence, respect and empathy towards individuals suffering from unease of disease. This is an important social operation to stimulate a change in mentality and culture in the new generations.
