Coding and Robotics

The Phyrtual Innovation Gym is hosting an educational project on Coding and Robotics for 42 students from the Liceo Democrito in Rome. The 40-hour course for transversal competences and orientation (former school-work programme) involves two year four classes (RA and RB), both in the technical-scientific area.

The course is based on cooperative work for the acquisition of disciplinary and transversal competences through the design, development and programming of robotic devices.

In particular, students will build an exploratory rover with Arduino, 3D modelling and 3D printing in four stages:

  • Design of rover robot with Arduino
  • 3D Modelling
  • Printing, assembling and testing the robot
  • Development of exploration scenarios for the robot

The coordinating professors is Patrizia Cesari, while the Fondazione Mondo Digitale Coaches are Marco Brocchieri (robotics) and Daniele Vigo (digital manufacturing).

There will be two appointments this week: on December 2 and 4.
