DIDATTICHE.2018

The International Didattiche.2018 Conference (Oct. 12-13) organised by the Centro Studi Erickson, in collaboration with Rizzoli EducationOxford University Press and the Fondazione Mondo Digitale begins tomorrow. The two-day event, which will feature meetings and debates with professionals operating in schools and education in general, begins tomorrow to promote an innovative, equal and efficient school, one that can provide the tools to help everyone develop their life projects, whilst respecting and building on individual student differences [see press release].

The conference includes 2 plenary sessions, 21 workshops, 20 debates, 4 visual talks, 40 labs, 4 digital classrooms and 14 operative tables for national and international experts to exchange their visions, ideas and reflections.

Tomorrow (2:00 – 2:45 pm), there will be a Visual Talk with Alfonso Molina, co-founder and Scientific Director of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, who will propose his reflection on the concept of school innovation: Defining Innovation Today – Life Education in the 21st Century.

"Innovating means recognising that what we have always done needs to be changed, questioning traditional didactics and our relationship with subject areas.

It is our choice to innovate didactic activities, our ways of teaching and the opportunities with which our students learn. It’s a choice that becomes increasingly important and efficient if it is shared with colleagues, school boards and the entire local community, so that it can bring true change,” explains Dario Ianes, co-founder of the Centro Studi Erickson, one of the scientific coordinators of the conference.
