At the Ministry of Health’s stand to promote the electronic health record

This year, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale is also present at the BNL Italian Open, at the Foro Italico, at the Ministry of Health’s stand, with activities dedicated to promoting the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

The activities will take place on the following days:

  • Saturday 9 May, 10am–5pm with Gabriele Colantoni
  • Sunday 10 May, 10am–5pm with Luca Gentile
  • Saturday 16 May, 10am–5pm with Giorgia Macrino
  • Sunday 17 May, 10am–5pm with Eleonora Gentile

Throughout the event, the Foundation’s digital facilitators will guide citizens and visitors in using the Electronic Health Record, explaining in a simple and practical way how to access their health data, view medical reports, manage prescriptions and navigate the healthcare system’s online services.

As part of one of the capital’s major international sporting events, the initiative offers a concrete opportunity to introduce a broad and diverse audience to digital healthcare services, promoting greater awareness and autonomy.

The activity forms part of the Roma Capitale Digitale project, selected and supported by the Fund for the Digital Republic – Social Enterprise (Dritti al punto call for proposals), a widespread training programme on digital skills aimed at citizens across Rome’s 15 municipalities.

Through the network of 36 Punti Digitale Facile centres operating across the city, the project aims to strengthen digital inclusion and promote fairer and more informed access to online services, helping to reduce regional and social divides. The training sessions are free, practical and accessible to people of all ages and with varying levels of digital literacy.

Participation in the Internazionali thus takes the form of a “hands-on” extension of the centres’ activities: an opportunity to take digital facilitation beyond traditional spaces and identify new needs, guiding an increasing number of citizens in the informed use of digital public services, starting with those related to health.
