Operation Digital Risorgimento returns with new on-line courses to help citizens quickly acquire strategic digital competences and take advantage of all the opportunities and advantages provided by digital life and simplify their lives through the daily use of new technology and applications.

The programme, which was launched last year by TIM with an Italy-wide mobile school, now has over thirty public and private partners and new free on-line courses for everyone.

The first 18 classes of "Improving Digital Life" will hold a weekly one-hour webinar with 60 tutors and teachers to explain how the Internet can provide concrete support for daily life.

In particular, the issues addressed by the first four appointments will be:

  • Pocket Digital – to optimise and custom-tailor device configurations and learn about digital tools such the cloud, antivirus, passwords and PINs.
  • Safe Digital Payments – to safely manage home banking, e-commerce and on-line shopping.
  • I, Digital Citizen – to learn about public administration tools to improve your daily life: from SPID to PagoPA and Digital Health Records.
  • Health and Well-being On-line – an introduction to health, well-being and free-time applications, besides medical ones for a changing world.

Moreover, there will also be content available for e-learning, advanced issues, tests and exercises. At the end of the course, participants who wish to do so may certify their acquired competences through a questionnaire and receive a certification.

The on-line school promoted by Operation Digital Risorgimento, which uses the Google Workspace Platform and is organised in collaboration with the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, addresses citizens of all ages in all Italian regions, who can participate without any prior knowledge, as long as you can use the basic functions on your device and wish to learn about new tools and applications to enjoy digital life.
