How can virtual worlds and 3D environments change education?
Students and teachers at the Rome IIS H. Hertz School will discover it today from 9 am to 1 pm with Coach Domenico Zungri in the Immersive Lab at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym, where they will experiment with a research, development and educational environment with pioneering technologies (i.e., CAVE VR, Oculus Rift, Emotiv Neurofeedback) to study sensorial and emotional immersion that characterizes both old and new media, such as cinema, videogames, theme attractions and virtual reality, as well as new digital learning environments.
Last October, for the 90th anniversary of the Institute, Indire organized the 1st Meeting on Didactics in Virtual Worlds, dedicated to didactic videogames, 3D on-line environments and serious games.
