Practical tools for the classroom with Ital.IA Lab for School

The training programme of Ital.IA Lab for School continues; this initiative, promoted by Fondazione Mondo Digitale ETS in collaboration with Microsoft, is dedicated to teaching artificial intelligence in schools.

The next session, scheduled for 16 April from 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm, is dedicated to the theme of inclusive education, with a focus on how artificial intelligence can provide practical support for teachers in classroom planning and management.

The webinar will be led by Giulia Calogero, who proposes an integrated approach based on three well-established frameworks in educational research. Universal Design for Learning guides design towards flexible and accessible environments capable of responding to a variety of learning profiles. Social and Emotional Learning places socio-emotional skills at the centre, recognising their role in cognitive and relational processes. The thinking routines of the Making Learning and Thinking Visible project, on the other hand, emphasise the diversity of languages as a lever for understanding and producing knowledge.

In this context, artificial intelligence is not an abstract concept, but a practical tool: customisable environments, adaptive resources and generative tools help to differentiate content, facilitate student expression and build more inclusive learning pathways, even in complex contexts.

The webinar is designed for teachers at all levels and takes a highly practical approach, featuring real-life examples and tools that can be used immediately in the classroom.
