The seventh edition of the Global Junior Challenge has become a celebration of the changing nature of schools. An immense crowd of students of all ages invaded the stands to discover what their peers are doing in other parts of the world. In fact, there are students like Cindea TsuiChin Hung, who faced a nearly ten thousand-kilometre journey to arrive in Rome from Kaohsiung (Taiwan).

The Istituto comprensivo Via dei Consoli, in the Quadraro neighbourhood, hosts the demo stands of the 120 finalist projects, which are manned by over 400 innovators. The projects were selected by the 92 judges of a popular jury. The Awards Ceremony will be held tomorrow morning at 10 am at the Rome Campidoglio.

Hashtag #GJC2015 on the Twitter timeline narrates the surprise of the exhibitors for all the attention, including that of the media. In fact, the crews from the RAI TG1 and TG2 news programmes had to work hard to make their way through the crowds. !function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0],p=/^http:/.test(d.location)?'http':'https';if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src=p+"://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");
