Mapping and Leagues

Last Monday, May 27, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale hosted the coordination meeting for the future coaches of Project Computer Science First [see news: Education is Viral]. The coaches are experienced teachers who will hold the courses for their peers in five Italian Regions (Lazio, Campania, Sicily, Veneto, Lombardy) from June to December 2019.

They were selected for their competences in the techno-pedagogic sector, their participation in innovative didactic projects and their resourcefulness as educators.

Together with the FMD Team, the coaches reviewed and adapted the didactic material provided by Google, shared ideas for curriculum mapping in class and reflected on the involvement of teachers in the CSF league that will be held in October.

The mapping and league are key points of the project promoted by Google and allow for a pertinent use of coding for the concrete pedagogic needs of primary and first-degree secondary schools.

This collective and fertile collaboration reveals once again how the strategic function of innovative education opens new roads and promotes the values of teachers at project ambassadors.
