Phyrtual Skills

The new contribution by the Scientific Director of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, Alfonso Molina, which has been published on the Italian version of the HuffPost, is dedicated to phyrtual skills.

In this short article, Prof. Molina starts with expressions such as onlife and phygital, which have become more widespread during the pandemic, to explain “phyrtual,” a term used since 2004 in the description of the “Settimane tematiche” at the Rome Educational City. “Phyrtual requires the integration of spaces, environments and places with distinct and diverse characteristics, without any fusion-confusion.”

“Phyrtual learning spaces help the new generations, and not only, to correctly place their experiences in the right context. Virtual activities interact and enrich, but they do not substitute, experiences and relations in physical spaces. Similarly, we may say that we have developed ad equate phyrtual competences – life skills – if we develop strategic ideas that plan and develop innovation processes in an integrated physical-virtual form: not one and then the other, but together.”

Oggi più che mai bisogna sviluppare la competenza "firtuale" (in Italian)
