Today, meeting with young people at the Agape Community Centre
An opportunity for young people in the area to meet and exchange ideas: today, Thursday 10 July, at 6 p.m., at the Agape Community Centre in Reggio Calabria, there will be a presentation of the new free training opportunities promoted as part of the European project Prodigy (Promoting Digital and Green Skills for Youth). The initiative, aimed in particular at young people in transition between education and work, involves institutions, local authorities, educators and young people in an open dialogue on the most effective strategies for strengthening youth employability, with a focus on digital skills and environmental sustainability.
During the meeting, the certified online courses launched by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale will be presented, which include:
Digital skills, basic (20 hours) and advanced (25 hours)
Professional courses (basic, intermediate, advanced)
- Green skills in the new labour market (15 hours)
- Social media marketer (60 hours)
- Data analyst (60 hours)
- Sustainability manager (60 hours)
- Web designer (60 hours)
The courses award Esco and DigComp 2.2 certifications and are delivered online. The project stands out for its personalised educational approach, with individual coaching and social network strengthening, to accompany each young person in building their own growth path.
‘With Prodigy, we are building a concrete bridge between young people and their future,’ explains Giulia Melissari, Focal Point of the project in Reggio Calabria for Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
‘Digital training and environmental sustainability are no longer separate areas, but complementary pillars for inclusion and active citizenship,’ adds Annaleda Mazzucato, project manager of the European project.
