Appointment at Al Vicolo, guests of the Hero association
Tomorrow, Tuesday 11 November, at 6.30 p.m., the historic centre of Palermo will become the heart of new opportunities for young people, thanks to a meeting dedicated to training and workplace inclusion.
The event, organised by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale ETS, will be held in a place that symbolises youth participation and growth: Al Vicolo (Vicolo San Basilio, 10), the headquarters of the HRYO – Human Rights Youth Organisation. Al Vicolo is a dynamic space where opportunities related to international mobility, human rights and social innovation flourish.
The event is an opportunity to present the European project PRODIGY – PROmoting Digital and Green Skills for Youth. Funded under ESF+ Social Innovation+, PRODIGY is an innovative programme that aims to train and qualify young people between the ages of 15 and 29 who are not in education or employment.
The goal is ambitious and concrete: to disseminate cutting-edge solutions to promote employment, enhance crucial digital and green skills, and promote social inclusion, thereby improving the prospects of 240 young people in Italy, Greece and Bulgaria.
PRODIGY is a true European model of growth and inclusion, the result of the evolution of already established experiences such as Dig4all and Digi-Breaker+. Its approach is based on a personalised educational path, targeted individual support and essential strengthening of social networks.
The project is being implemented thanks to the collaboration of a solid international partnership, led by Fondazione L'Albero della Vita ETS (lead partner) and including, in addition to Fondazione Mondo Digitale ETS, Adecco Italia spa and Roma Tre University in Italy, supported by European partners ActionAid Hellas (Greece) and Partners Bulgaria Foundation (Bulgaria).
Enrolment for PRODIGY training courses is still open. They represent a real opportunity for young people in Palermo, Reggio Calabria, Catanzaro, Naples and Cosenza. It is an unmissable opportunity to build a future based on current skills: digital, sustainable and inclusive.
