Research Means More Life

27 is the number of extra years that we have gained as humans thanks to science over our life expectancy just a century, when the average age expectancy was 55. Our quality of life and life expectancy have improved markedly. We must educate youth to continue trusting our advances in health and participate actively to improve the world through their behaviour. Factor J, which aims to develop ambassadors with a positive message, is an educational programme that has already involved 12,000 students over the last school year. Now, the second edition – “In the Hands of Science” – is kicking off. The programme has been developed by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale in collaboration with Janssen Italia.

Fanpage, the media partner for the second edition of Factor J, the project developed in collaboration with Janssen Italia, reports on the project in its science section.

Scientific Progress Means More Life

Sept. 21, 2021

More of a broadcaster, than an on-line daily, Fanpage has a community of 14 million readers and it has chosen to report on Factor J also with a video, with the faces of people, because research and science have profoundly change our life expectancy, giving the new generations “27 more years.”
